Anti-spam

Conectoo does not tolerate spam. For being sure that none of our clients does not send spam, Conectoo uses a strict set of rules for limiting and monitoring potential spam messages.

Why we don't like spam

Because we lose time for identifing, deleting or marking them as spam. Because it invades our Inbox and because many times spam messages are more numerous than ordinary and useful messages.

Because it lowers customer trust in email communication, and it affects our reputation as legitimate senders, because it costs us time and money.

Because of all these reasons, Conectoo activity militates against using spam.

What we consider to be spam

A spam message is : a) any message sent to its recipient without its previous agrement, including email addresses collected from discussion lists or web sites, and/or b) any message that promotes illegal activities, like drug traffic or prostitution.

Why you receive messages delivered by Conectoo

If you have received a message delivered by Conectoo, it means that: a) you are one of the Conectoo users, b) your email address is included in one or more subscription lists managed by Conectoo users or c) somebody (identified by its email address and name) has recommended you one of the newsletters delivered by Conectoo.

For not receiving anymore messages from Conectoo users, you can easily unsubscribe by using your unsubscription link found in every message and confirming your option in the confirmation email.

Information security and confidentiality

Conectoo manages two types of confidential information: a) personal data of its users and b) personal data of the subscribers of the newsletters managed by its users. We apply strict security measures for protecting the managed data and assuring that no data is lost, exposed, modified or used in any other purposes that those assumed.

We will not sell, rent or share any confidential information unless with the written agreement of its owner or at the order of a court of law. All the confidential information sent to us is available only to those to which it was sent for contacting you or sending emails on your request.

The termination of any account implies total deletion of all the information associated with that account, including the user account information and those of its lists subscribers.

Anti-spam policy enforcement

Recognizing its responsibility as a provider of email service provider, Conectoo has implemented a set of strict rules for limiting, discouraging and monitoring the sending of potential spam messages. These rules include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Automatic adding of a functional and visible unsubscription link in all messages sent, if it was not added by the sender
• Automatic processing of any unsubscription request, imediately after confirmation
• Implementation of a duble-option subscription procedure, which can be used by all customers
• Continuous monitoring of the invalid addresses, spam reports, unsubscription rates for every newsletter sent
• Development of a special section for reporting possible spam by users, together with the postmaster@conectoo.ro email address
• Continuous monitoring of subscribers adding operations from inside and outside the application, using the Aero API
• Posibility to suspend or cancel any Conectoo user account which are suspected to sent spam messages

Communication rules applied by all Conectoo users

Conectoo users do not send spam messages, or, if contrary, assume all the legal and contractual responsibilities. Recognizing the importance of sending non-spam messages, Conectoo users apply a set of rules that increase the deliverability of their newsletters. The following set of communication rules is necessary, but not always sufficient, for all Conectoo users:

• Conectoo users will not use email addresses gathered from web sites or discussion groups
• Conectoo users will not use bought email lists and will not transfer the email addresses from one list to another
• Conectoo users will use only email addresses of subscribers who requested this subscription by a double-option mechanism
• Conectoo users don't send newsletters with inadequate or irrelevant content
• Conectoo users don't try in any way elimination or deactivation of the unsubscription link from the sent message

ISP admin relations

If you represent an ISP or mail administrator, and would like to get in touch with us, please write us at office@conectoo.ro. If you would like to report possible spam messages delivered by Conectoo who reached your network, write us at postmaster@conectoo.ro. Please include all the relevant information and forward one of the spam-suspected messages. We assure you we will analyze the information sent with attention and take all the measures required.
